Bad news – RoF Press going down

If you haven’t heard, the Ring of Fire Press is going to be liquidated. I don’t know what the story on the Grantville Gazette is, but his widow’s got a lot of debts with the company. Not many copies of my book left – I have some for sale, as does Sally, of Larry Smith, bookseller, at cons.

I’ll be looking at how to keep 11,000 Years in print.

    1. First, I had to wait for my rights reversion letter. I just got that two weeks ago, so now I can do what I want.

Except…. RoF Press sold ebooks through Baen’s channel. About a month ago, I was contacted by Baen, and told that Toni Weisskopf, the editor in chief, was looking into “rehoming” some of us. I sent her a blurb, and mentioned that I’d just been reviewed in the May-June Asimov’s… and she had me send her the mss and a copy of the review. So, now I’m waiting… and if she takes 11,000 Years, I’ll turn around and offer her the next book, Becoming Terran, which takes place between 55 and 100 or so years from now.
