Busy today. Over the weekend, for those into the 1632 universe, I finished the third story about Marianne, the young lacemaker in Paris. Per Bjorn, the editor of the new ‘zine Eric Flint’s 1632 and Beyond, the successor to the Grantville Gazette, it’s been posted to the 1632 slushpile on Baen’s Bar.
And just this evening, I got the copy edit of Becoming Terran. Argh, mateys, been edited by KD, my editor’s manager, the copy editor, and by Walt, my editor. It’s a *lot* of work (quick, on a full screen, do you see the blue ‘.`?)
At least it’s not due asap, as the first copy edit of 11,000 Years was – received on a Sunday eve, with the release planned that Thurs….
